The goal of this poster series was to create messaging that would instantly connect with a viewer in passing but discover more information if examined more closely.
2D to 3D
The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City is one of a select group of specialized fashion museums visited by hundreds of thousands of people annually. While flat, the poster references elements of New York City and fashion design sketches. The 3D component is the cut out of the pigeon’s wing that connects to the models clothing to create a ‘wearable’ piece of high fashion.
